Bill Ning founded Blue Elephant Capital in 2015, China's first venture capital institution focusing on education. He started his education investment career in 2014 at the strategic investment department of TAL (NYSE:TAL). So far, he has participated in more than 100 education investments.

Bill has 18+ years of experience in the operation and management of education companies. He founded Mobby and Xueersi English at TAL. He was also the first cohort of teacher trainers at New Oriental (NYSE:EDU). In addition to experience in product innovation, branding, distribution channel and strategy, Bill is also an expert in the localization of international education resources.

Veronica is responsible for BE Capital's operations, post-investment management, refinancing, risk control and compliance. She had over 10 years of experience in capital operation, M&A, and technology strategy research in China, Canada, Europe, Israel, and Silicon Valley.

She once worked for Canadian government and public asset management companies (sovereign wealth fund), managing its $8 billion infrastructure and private equity investment portfolio. She once served as a director of the Western Canada CFA Association, an MBA tutor at Victoria University Business School, an instructor at Hundun University, and the translator of the Chinese version of Disrupting Class by Clayton Christensen.

Jarod Xiao 肖锦博

Jarod Xiao is responsible for the technical evaluation of the education informatization projects. He also provides content resources and market channel support. He focuses on linking education products with schools and keeps a close collaboration with BE’s portfolio companies in terms of market-entry into public schools.

He worked as the Director of R&D and Vice President at Renren.com, tizi.com and zxxk.com. With over 10 years of experience focusing on public schools and corporate channel services, he is an expert on the R&D of educational products and product evaluation for entering schools.

At BE Capital, Fred Qiu is in charge of the investment of Business-to-Customer startups. For the past five years, he has invested in and provided post-investment services for over 30 education startups, including Timing, Sida Camp, Ziyue Chinese, Dodoro, Hualala and WESCHOOL. He is proficient in market analysis, MVP design and product innovation.

At BE Capital, Jing Chen is in charge of the investment of informatization, vocational education, and educational technology startups. She has invested in and provided post-investment services for over a dozen startups, including HexFuture, Bibofood and Decibel Works. She has passed the CPA and the national judicial examination, specializing in the legal framework and refinancing design of small enterprises.

He also has broad connections in the edtech arena. Yifan Jiang is in charge of the daily operations at the Beijing office of BE Capital. He also manages the financial procedures of BE Capital’s fundraising and investment processes. Evelyn Yang is in charge of the post-investment management of BE’s portfolio companies. She also oversees BE Capital's industry relationships. Prior to her arrival at BE Capital, she had entrepreneurial experience in the education industry. As a former headhunter from Michael Page International Group, she is adept in talent recruitment and team management for startups.

Prior to her arrival at BE Capital, she was responsible for the online media operations and brand management at a publicly traded venture firm.
